Steam-Distilled Chaste Tree Water (1 L)
Mecitefendi Chaste Tree Water (Hayıt Suyu) is produced by steam-distilling the seeds of the chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus), which grows across western and southern Anatolia and is harvested in June and July. The result is a clear aromatic water with a warm, peppery, faintly balsamic character.
A concentrated aromatic water, meant to be diluted: fill a quarter of a tea glass with chaste tree water, top up with drinking water, and drink — up to twice a day, before meals. Shake gently before use.
Store cool, dry and out of direct sunlight; keep the cap closed and refrigerate after opening.
